The product SACLON 2 ECO is a mix obtained by absolutely ecological and not corrosive chemical products HFC (Hidrofluorocarbon), that obtained the homologation of the Italian Ministry of the Interior with the preventive approval of the Ministry of the Environment and the Health Institution.
SACLON 2 ECO, for its own composition does not have any limit of expiry or use, it does not harm the ozone and it does not belong to the range of products whose utilization is forbidden for the ozone, as it has

The product belong the fire-extinguishing agents included in the E.P.A. (United States Environmental Protection Agency) and NFPA 2001 ed. 2008, and thanks to its particular features it is suitable for the use for portable fire extinguishers and in trolley fire extinguishers for fires of class A (fires from solid material), class B (fires from liquid material) and class F (fires from combustions of vegetal and animal oils).

Thanks to its features, SACLON 2 ECO does not harm bronzes, chalks, pictures, woven, tapestries and works of art, as it has no colour, not smell and it is not corrosive. Thanks to its composition Saclon 2 Eco does not belong to the substances forbidden from the law nr. 549/93 and from the CEE 3952/92 regulation, so , according to the current international norms, it is considered an extinguishing agent ”clean” and therefore it does not have any limitation of use or expiration. SACLON 2 ECO has successfully exceeded also the test by the Laboratory, that was credited by the Ministry of the Interior, as a total saturation fire-extinguishing agent according to the strict UNI EN 15004 regulations “System of Extinction Fires with Gaseous Extinguishing Agents” to be used in fixed fire-extinguishing plants. The great results achieved by the product during the test, in terms of rapidity of fall of the oxygen level with the consequent rapidity of extinction, both for the A class (fire from solid material) and for the B class ( fires from liquid material), make it a first quality extinguishing agent. The certification according to the European standard UNI, that adds to the one according to the American standard NFPA 2001 that was previously in force, demonstrates that the product is particularly indicated for the use in fixed fire-extinguishing Systems of small, medium and big dimension, in areas that are commonly occupied by people, with the eventual limitations provided for the substitutes of the Halon products as Total Flooding Agents, in Data processing centres and on Apparatus under tension.

SACLON 2 ECO is a mixture of colourless HFC gases skilfully combined with a detoxifying agent having a pleasant fragrance of Scotch pine. The cylinders are equipped with a quick discharge valve and the turned brass nozzless are suitably calibrated to ensure a rapid flow of the gas in order to obtain the complete discharge valve and the turned brass nozzles are suitably calibrated to ensure a rapid flow of the gas in order to obtain the complete discharge of all the extinguishing agent in a maximum time of 8/10 seconds. The action of SACLON 2 ECO on the fire is that of lowering the percentage of oxygen to under 14% in just a few seconds; a threshold below which a normal fire cannot continue to burn. The use of the detoxifying agent and the reduced discharge time therefore enable rapid lowering of the oxygen level in the place, thus ensuring rapid extinguishing as well as limiting the damage caused by the fire ,creating a synergic effect with limited formation on production of decomposition due to the temperature and thereby allowing the evacuation of any personnel present in the room.
