The product comes within the category of extinguishing agents provided for by E.P.A. (UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY) and NFPA 2001 ed 2008 standards and, thanks to its particular features it is suitable for the use for portable fire-extinguishers, in trolley fire-extinguishers and in fixed fire-extinguishing plants of small, medium or big dimension, in areas normally occupied by personnel, with the eventual limitation expected for the substitutes of the HALON, such as TOTAL FLOODING AGENTS, in center for the elaboration of data, and on apparatus under tension.
For its specific features it does not damage BRONZES, PLASTER CASTS, PICTURES, CLOTHES, TAPESTRIES and ART WORKS, as it has no color, no smell and it is no corrosive. SACLON 2 ECO does not belong to the substances forbidden by the law NR. 549/93 and by the CEE regulation 3952/92, so it is actually the only product without limits of use or expiry.

The product is a HFC (HIDRO FLUORINE CARBIDE CALLED HALOGENATED HYDROCARBON) that should not be confused with the HCFC (HIDRO CHLORINE FLUORINE CARBIDE) or CFC
(CHLORINE FLUORINE CARBIDE), they all belong to the family of the halogenated hydrocarbons and called simply HALONS |

Unfortunately on application of the Ministry of the Interior, on the labels of the product should be indicated that it is halogenated hydrocarbons, but it is necessary to specify (AS INDICATED IN THE PREVIOUS POINTS) that the halogenated hydrocarbons are not all equal and they are not all forbidden, but only those indicated in the schedule enclosed to the law (THAT IS TO SAY THE HCFC AND THE CFC) |

To clarify that, in all the SACLON 2 ECO fire-extinguishers in the market, the producer applies another label stating the assumption of responsibility for all the civil and penal effects, and reporting the terms of the approval and the opinion expressed by the Italian Ministries. |
